What’s Life All About?
A simple question that is possibly the only question worth asking! Yet many of us avoid an answer. For those of you who have thought about this question, here’s a chance to share your answer with the world.
I just want to know your opinion. If someone asked you “What’s life all about?” what would you say?

I put this question on the wholeness forums site, here: http://www.wholenessforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=42
For me, life is the journey from self to Self. From unconscious to conscious, from selfishness to selflessness, and this does not mean beating oneself up in an ascetic sort of way, living a life of self denial of joy. We seek joy, every moment is really a quest for that joy and we crave the experience of emotions, under it all we are emotional being, hooked on them, even if they are ones that are uncomfortable or negative. So, we take on these bodies from the dust of this world and draw the dust together by our thoughts and go on the journey to full fill these emotions, until one day we say ‘no more’, give me something that is worth keeping, a joy beyond all others, which (without sounding I’ve just gotten off the bus from a new age workshop) is none other than love and compassion, and a sacredness for all things around us.
@ Tony, that’s an answer I like to read. very well said. Thanks
