Occupational Wellness leads us to a new dimension called the Vocational Wellness. The definition of Vocational Wellness can be viewed as being similar to Occupational Wellness but it isn’t. Vocational Wellness is one of the interconnected eight dimensions of wellness
So, what is Vocational Wellness? In a nutshell, Vocational wellness can be nurtured by matching your core values with interests, hobbies, employment and volunteer work. As you uncover your talents and passion, you express yourself to the world.
For example, the author of this article seeks to improve his vocational wellness by posting blog articles on issues and topics that align with his interests and values. Vocational wellness is easier to pursue when compared to occupational wellness because it doesn’t concern making money like occupational wellness does.
