What Is Wholeness?

I’m trying to define what ‘wholeness’ means.

I think that seeking wholeness should be the holy grail for every intelligent human being, on this journey one will grow and experience their full potential.

No person is whole, I doubt that any person can be whole; however seeking to be whole is seeking to improve one’s abilities, and requires one to live up to one’s highest potential in all aspects of one’s being.

Dictionaries define wholeness as:

* The state of being entirely whole
* The condition of being free from defects or flaws
* The condition of being physically and mentally sound
* The quality or state of being whole, entire, or sound
* A state of robust good health
* Psychic stage in which the union of the unconscious with the conscious has been achieved.

Germany Warns Citizens to Avoid Using Wi-Fi

It is my opinion that not enough research has been done, and that financial interests have placed obstacles to hinder honest scientific research into wifi and cell phone signals and their effects on living tissue and humans. I came across this article today. You also may want to checkout this article to find nearby wireless antennas

The Original Article Below was Written by Geoffrey Lean - The Independent UK on Sunday 09 September 2007

People should avoid using Wi-Fi wherever possible because of the risks it may pose to health, the German government has said.

Its surprise ruling - the most damning made by any government on the fast-growing technology - will shake the industry and British ministers, and vindicates the questions that The Independent on Sunday has been raising over the past four months.

And Germany’s official radiation protection body also advises its citizens to use landlines instead of mobile phones, and warns of “electrosmog” from a wide range of other everyday products, from baby monitors to electric blankets.

The German government’s ruling - which contrasts sharply with the unquestioning promotion of the technology by British officials - was made in response to a series of questions by Green members of the Bundestag, Germany’s parliament.

The Environment Ministry recommended that people should keep their exposure to radiation from Wi-Fi “as low as possible” by choosing “conventional wired connections”. It added that it is “actively informing people about possibilities for reducing personal exposure”.

Its actions will provide vital support for Sir William Stewart, Britain’s official health protection watchdog, who has produced two reports calling for caution in using mobile phones and who has also called for a review of the use of Wi-Fi in schools. His warnings have so far been ignored by ministers and even played down by the Health Protection Agency, which he chairs.

By contrast the agency’s German equivalent - the Federal Office for Radiation Protection - is leading the calls for caution.

Florian Emrich, for the office, says Wi-Fi should be avoided “because people receive exposures from many sources and because it is a new technology and all the research into its health effects has not yet been carried out”.

What does being healthy mean? What do you mean when you refer to yourself or someone else using the term “healthy”? Have you paused to consider the ways in which we use the word “healthy” and what “healthy” ultimately refers to?

Here, together, we will look at this word and at the idea of being healthy. We will find what being healthy really means. We will also see how the eight dimensions of wellness and the seeking of wholeness relate to health and being healthy.

Defining being healthy (having health) may be easiest when defining the lack of health. It’s simple really; when something hurts or feels abnormal in your body, you know right away that you are (or that a part of your body is) now unhealthy. So, does being healthy mean the lack of pain? Is this a good enough definition of health?

Reduce Your Stress & Look More Beautiful!

I recently visited an aunt that I haven’t seen in a couple months, and she made the comment that I looked relaxed and more attractive. No I am not selling myself or bragging here, seriously. The point I’m making is that she, without knowing of my recent lifestyle changes, saw a difference by looking at my face. The way I felt emotionally and physically must have influenced my facial features.

Personally I did not notice the difference, but others have and they’ve pointed it out to me by either saying that I looked more attractive or more relaxed, and that they like it better this way.

I guess, experiencing meditation, mindful meditation, guided imagery, breathing exercises, experiencing life force, or whatever you do to relax, reduce stress in your life or be healthier does have an impact on you face (and on your soul, behavior and body’s posture). It makes you look more attractive!

It does make sense, doesn’t it? Your face will reflect your body or emotional status. In addition, having your body under stress and your facial muscles under constant tension will show on your eyes, mouth, forehead.. It also make sense that all this causes wrinkles.

Have you had a similar experience??

If you have please leave a comment to let me and other know.

Thanks
